So we went to Eddie’s caban in PA, Mt. Pocono…absolutely beautiful there:D Rained all saturday but we stayed in and played ping-pong, made a bbq, relaxed, had fun inside. On sunday we visited the sorroundings..B-u-tifull !! (also loved: clean air and cheap cigarettes 3-4 $)

backtracking 9/11 memorial day and goldfrapp

No am fost noi cu Eddie sa facem poze la frumoasele lumini aprinse in memoriam of the twin towers of WTC…foarte frumos[2 locatii] si imediat dupa infama zi de 9/11 si anume 9/12 am fost la concert Goldfrapp la Radio City Hall [citeste aici] Foarte frumos. Individa Martha Wainwright din deschidere ..super voce, folky songs, sexy blonda dar parca prea tipa. M-a impresionat un cantec in franceza pe care l-a cantat acompaniata de o pianista. No si dupa vine ea Goldfrapp imbracata intr-o rochita scurta cu panglici, cu toata trupa cu harpa and all si a facut super show pe toate melodiile vechi, cam slabut albumul nou-care era si promovat-Caravan. Desi nu slabut ci diferit…janis jopliny, hippie, less electronic…dar ok. Poze de la concert nema caci..funny story…imi zice David ia repde aparatu si un obiectiv de schimb si hai ca ne duce Eddie cu masina pana la tren ca ploua. Zis si facut.Ajungem noi acolo alea alea si scoate David aparatu inante de concert sa fada cum trebuie el sa se descurce…ghici ce :BATERY DEPLETED ! Ma dar de tot, nici nu se mai deschdea..asa ca no sharing

ok, sambata trecuta la plaja…Myself , David and Eddie…to make long story short-burnt !!!!!!!!!
azi work, trenuri nebuneli, am terminat tigarile romanesti si acum dam 8.50$ pe pachet…but life’s good! and now some music, just for phun! (asa se scrie fun a la Micheal Phelps )

to the ocean and off to work !

Am fost duminica la plaja la ocean, bineinteles ca nu a fost fara peripetii. Am ajuns noi la trenu’ de Long Island [LIRR-Long Island RailRoad] la 11:05am, el pleaca fic la 11:15am dar noi am mai stat de o tigara …am ajuns la bilete..a ajuns si trenul pe peron…tipul de la bilete simpatic ii zice aluia sa hold the doors pt noi..dar..ii chargeaza de 2 ori cardu’ lu Andra asa ca bye-bye trenu ca a trebuit sa astam sa luam refund. Nu-i bai am luat trenul urmator de la 12:15pm si am ajuns la plaja.Vremea superba, apa calda…dar..plina de jellyfishi…yuck!Ne-am balacit de cateva ori, ne-am ars in fosele poplitee dar a fost fun, am stat pana la 6:00pm la plaja..deci am prins ceva.
Ieri ,plini de elan, am fost job-hunting. Auzise David ca sunt openings la Century 21 si am fost amandoi si am depus application, apoi ne-am plimbat prin Union Square cu ochii pe strazi si am gasit eu la o farmacie -unde programez un interviu maine ca m-au sunat- in care farmacie mai lucreaza o romanca venita cu Work&Travel, Miruna.Deci..easy to make friends. Pe langa farmacie mi s-a mai oferit un job de baby-sitter la care ma duc azi, dar care este in Jersey imediat dupa pod, deci sa vad cum fac cu transportu. Anyway..its’ gooooood !
